I’m in Copenhagen guys!
OMG the cinnamon buns are the best thing so far. I found this lovely little cafe that I have been to almost everyday, but there are great bakeries everywhere!
The weather is pretty much like home to be honest, I am quite looking forward to getting somewhere sunny and shedding a few layers of clothing.
I am enjoying learning about the royal Danish family… I always like Hamlet so it’s really cool to visit the place where he would have lived (I know he is fictional guys!). I imagine this city is very nice in the summer, in winter everyone is hidden away because it is so cold! It makes the area feel really eerie and quiet. But maybe in the summer everyone comes out and has a coffee sitting in the open spaces. I went to the touring exhibition of Museum of Broken Relationships. I don’t know if you have heard of it. Its pretty weird, lots of objects and items donated from failed relationships around the world that each have a small paragraph explaining why the object is significant. It was so creepy. I cannot imagine why anyone would want to publicly display their heartbreak in that way. No offense, but it is pretty indecent. I don’t think I would want to go back to that one. It wasn’t particularly Danish, I think just so happened to be there at the same time I was.
Anyway, it has been nice here, I would like to come back in summer one day and go on a boat tour. But for now, I am looking forward to my next stop. I just need to work out where that will be….
